When Erik Hillestad, the artistic director of KKV, heard Garness’ clean demos, his enthusiasm for their honest and inspired sound led him to urge the duo to produce their entire album themselves and record it at home. A natural choice for the twins was to ask their regular piano player and musical soul mate, Torjus Vierli, to co-produce the album.
