"Trøsteviser for redde netter" (Songs for comforting dating nights) - new album by the Randi Tytingvåg Trio

KKV is releasing the Randi Tytingvåg Trio's first Norweigian album.

This album offers comfort, strength and thoughts of hope on what the future may hold. 

Randi Tytingvåg has composed the music, and in collaboration with the poet Helge Torvund she has written powerful lyrics that relate to us all, not only when it comes to our personal tribulations, but also the challenges we have faced during these "coronavirus times". 

The trio is Randi Tytingvåg, vocals, Dag Vagle on guitar, vocal/backup vocals and Erlend E. Aasland on banjo and backup vocals. The trio has invited several guest musicians to contribute on this album: Bjørn Eidsvåg, vocals, Nils Økland on Hardanger fiddle, violin and viola. Vidar Kenneth Johansen on bass clarinet, and Børge Fjørdheim on drums, percussion, glockenspiel, saw and backup vocals. 

The mood over the entire album bears witness to experiences of personal challenges in life, and the need for closeness, The Randi Tytingvåg Trio has therefore been very eager to share these comforting songs with their audience.
